Half of her face is a person and half is a screen error. Blue, orange, pink and yellow blocks take over her cheek and forehead, while the eye and mouth stay painted and calm. Around the head float the small things of a digital life: QR codes on yellow squares, a barcode, scrambled lines of text. This glitch portrait asks what is left of us when the picture stops loading, and my answer is her gaze.
Each hand-finished lithograph is finished by me. I add my own acrylic brushstrokes on top of the print, plus a textured gel that goes on white and dries completely clear, so the surface has real relief and not only ink. Among pop art prints, this one has actual brushwork. It comes stretched on a stretcher and framed in black, 60 x 80 cm.
Every lithograph has its own serial number and a certificate. It is made to order, so message me on Instagram or by email to agree timing. Among contemporary art prints, this glitch portrait holds a wall by itself, so it works as pop art for living room walls or an office.
The original painting is still available and ready to ship.
