1. About these terms

These terms apply to the use of prakorin.com and to every purchase of an original painting or a hand-finished lithograph from PRAKORIN, the independent artist who runs this website (“PRAKORIN”, “we”, “us”). The website is not operated by a company. By ordering an artwork you accept these terms. Our Shippings, Payments and Privacy pages are part of these terms.

2. The artworks

• Originals are unique paintings created by the artist.
• Lithographs are reproductions of PRAKORIN paintings that the artist finishes by hand, so every lithograph is individual and small variations are part of the work. Every lithograph comes with a certificate of authenticity.
• We photograph the artworks as accurately as we can, but colours and textures can look slightly different on screens. Sizes are approximate and may vary by a few centimetres.

3. How to order

1. Send us a message via Instagram or email prakorin@gmail.com with the name of the artwork you like.
2. Because every artwork is made to order, we confirm availability, the final price, the production time and delivery to your country in writing.
3. Once you agree, we send you a secure payment link or payment details.
4. The contract is concluded when we confirm receipt of your payment. A message, a price shown on the website or a reservation alone does not create a binding order.

We may decline an order, for example if an artwork can no longer be produced. If you have already paid, we refund the full amount.

4. Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in euros. The price we confirm to you in writing is the price you pay, even if the website price changes later.
• Payment is made in advance through secure payment providers such as card payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or PayPal. We never see or store your full card details.
• Shipping is paid by the buyer; we confirm the cost in writing before you pay.
• Import duties, customs fees and local taxes outside the country of dispatch may apply and are paid by the buyer.

5. Production and delivery

• Production starts after payment. We confirm the expected production time individually; once the artwork is ready, it is usually shipped within 5–10 business days.
• Artworks are packed carefully and shipped with tracking. Details are on the Shippings page.
• Delivery dates are estimates. If we cannot keep the agreed date, we let you know and you may cancel and receive a full refund.
• If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected, we may charge €35 to cover shipping and handling before sending it again.

6. Damage in transit and lost parcels

Please check your artwork when it arrives. If it is damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos of the artwork and the packaging, and we will repair it, replace it or refund you. Claims for parcels lost in transit must be made within 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date; we will send a replacement at our cost once the loss has been confirmed with the carrier.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after you, or a person you name, receive the artwork, without giving any reason. To do so, send a clear statement by email to prakorin@gmail.com, for example: “I withdraw from my purchase of [artwork], ordered on [date].”

• Return the artwork within 14 days after informing us, well packed and in the condition you received it. We will send you the return address.
• You pay the cost of returning the artwork, including any customs fees.
• We refund all payments you made, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method. We may wait to refund until the artwork has arrived back with us.
• You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling the artwork more than needed to examine it.
• The right of withdrawal does not apply to artworks made to your personal specifications, such as a custom size or a personalised commission. We will always tell you before you pay if this exception applies.

Customers outside the EU may return an artwork on the same conditions.

8. Guarantee

You have all the rights that consumer law in your country gives you if an artwork is not as described or is defective, including the legal guarantee of conformity in the EU. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

9. Copyright

All artworks, images and texts on this website are protected by copyright and belong to PRAKORIN. Buying an artwork gives you ownership of that physical object, but not the right to reproduce, print or sell copies of the image or use it commercially. You are welcome to share photos of your artwork on social media, ideally tagging @prakorin. You may not copy or reuse content from this website without our written permission.

10. Liability

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. Otherwise, our liability for an order is limited to the price paid for it. We take care to keep the website correct and available, but we cannot guarantee that it is always free of errors or interruptions.

11. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the artist is based. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. If something goes wrong, please write to us first. Most questions can be solved quickly and personally.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force on the day we confirm your order applies to that order.
