«Disney Dreams»

A woman with purple hair holds her head in both hands while cartoon characters cover her arms and jacket: a mouse in a red polka-dot bow, a tall dog in a green hat, a duck holding banknotes. This is cartoon pop art about childhood that grew up and got a price tag. Her face breaks into sliding strips and black censor bars, but the characters around her stay bright and sharp.

Each hand-finished lithograph starts as a print of my painting. Then I go over it with my own acrylic brushstrokes and add a textured gel that goes on white and dries completely clear, so the surface has real relief and not just ink. The lithograph is 60 x 80 cm, stretched on a stretcher and framed in black.

It works as pop art for living room walls, or anywhere you want one loud, colourful piece.
