A veiled woman in a Renaissance-style portrait has her mouth knocked out of place and her neck covered in currency symbols, while rings and earrings float above her in grey clouds. For me it is money wall art about wanting. Every stone is drawn with care, and the person holding the phone is the part that stays unclear.
This pop art lithograph is hand-finished. I paint my own acrylic brushstrokes over the print, and a textured gel goes on white and dries completely clear, so the veil pattern and the thick ridges of yellow paint have real depth when you stand close. It comes stretched on a stretcher and framed in black, 60 x 80 cm.
With its turquoise ground and silvery gems, it is statement wall art for a hallway, a studio or a living room with one empty wall. Among hand embellished prints, it is calm in the middle and busy at the edges. Money wall art can be cold, and I tried to keep this one human. Every lithograph has its own serial number and certificate and is made to order. Message me on Instagram or by email to order yours.
