Her back is to the viewer, her braids are up, and a red notification bubble over her head reads 13K comments, 767 likes, 108 followers. Her face won't hold together. It slides apart in horizontal strips while small pixel blocks drift off to the left. It's glitch art about the attention economy, and it doesn't preach. It just shows you the numbers.
This is a hand-finished pop art lithograph. After printing, I go over it by hand in acrylic, so 40 to 50 percent of the surface is painted. Then I add a textured gel that goes on white and dries completely clear. Up close there's real brushwork and relief, which most pop art prints don't have.
Format: 60 x 80 cm, stretched on a stretcher, black frame. Each one has its own serial number and certificate.
It works as statement wall art in a bedroom or studio. If you collect glitch art, look at it next to its pair, Glitch in the matrix (2), where the same woman wears a sweater and her counter sits at zero.
