«What is happiness?»

One question, answered in clouds. Across the top: outline drawings of a car, a kiss, a family and a group hug. Across the bottom: upside-down white scribbles on black. Between them a bearded, stone-grey figure holds his head while his body slices apart and flips over like a broken screen. I made this wall art about happiness to ask what you would put in your own cloud.

It is a hand-finished lithograph. I add my own acrylic brushstrokes on top and a textured gel that goes on white and dries completely clear, so the white paint stands out from the surface. It comes stretched and framed in black, at 60 x 80 cm. Each lithograph has its own serial number and a certificate, and it is made to order.

Next to other pop art prints it is a quieter, more thoughtful choice, with its grey gradient and a few bright blocks of colour. As a pop art lithograph this wall art about happiness also works as art for office walls, where a question like this gets people talking.
